The event programme included presentations, music, and dance performances and food.
Performers: DJ Amas, Victor Brox Blues, Senegalese Dancer, Congolese drummers, Ify Iwobi, composer and pianist, Crossing Borders dancers.

Race Council Cymru worked with South Wales Jamaican Society and Thornhill Community Centre to deliver an inclusive multicultural community event. The centre launched it very first Windrush Celebration Day with a mix of educational and inspirational speakers and music performances, to create a day of shared history teaching and learning about Windrush Generation and their descendants.

This was a Free event with lunch provided and programmed a short film on the Windrush Generation, guest Speakers, music & dance and was advertised locally and through all RCC, CLPW and community networks, social media platforms and direct whats app community groups for all to participate.

A Windrush Celebration Day was held in partnership with Llanelli Multi-Cultural Network as an outdoor event and included presentations, music, and dance performances and food.

Performers: DJ Amas and Jazzy Africana and Windrush speakers including Lenn Lawrence, Windrush Cymru Elder.

Windrush Celebration Day in Caerphilly in partnership with Van Community Centre to deliver this event of celebration and education for children and young people aged eight to fourteen years old.  The event was attended by over thirty children and their families.
