The event programme included presentations, music, and dance performances and food.
Performers: DJ Amas, Victor Brox Blues, Senegalese Dancer, Congolese drummers, Ify Iwobi, composer and pianist, Crossing Borders dancers.
Speakers included Lenn Lawrence, Windrush Cymru Elders, Uzo Iwobi on behalf of RCC, Jill Duarte, African Community Centre, and Kokisa Buka, for the Congolese Development Project.
With African Caribbean food provided by Swansea based Jamaican Jills restaurant.
Swansea BAME Community Hub members also took part including Patience Bentu, Nigerians in Wales Association, Shirley Au Yeung, Chinese in Wales Association, Ganimet and Moody Caldi, from the Palestinian Society of Wales and Turkish Community, community leads from the Indian Society of South West Wales, Bangladeshi Community and Swansea Women’s Asylum Seeker & Refugee Support Group.
