North East Wales Multi Cultural Hub Community Grant 2022-23
As part of the Anti-racist Wales Culture, Heritage and Sport Fund, Ty Pawb, North East Wales Community Cohesion (WCBC) in partnerships Race Council Cymru have been awarded £240,000 over the three year period of the fund, to support the establishment of the North East Wales Multicultural HUB based in Ty Pawb.

Empowering Communities to Celebrating Diversity
As part of the funding secured £25,000.00 has been ring-fence in Year 1 of the project, to support 15 x £2,000.00 Community based projects. With each project being delivered between Jan 2023 and Jan 2024, subsequent funding for community project for Years 2 and 3 of the project will be announced in line with funding guidance in April 2023.

The funding awarded in year 1 aims to empower a series of grassroots community projects in North East Wales, to explore how they can individually or collectively work with wider community partners to promote positive and inclusive outcomes for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic community members living in North East Wales.
