Newport Multicultural Hub Virtual Launch

On behalf of our diverse ethnic  community organisations and partners that make up the Newport Multicultural Hub, Race Council Cymru and all our hub partners would like to cordially invite you to the formal virtual launch of the very first Multicultural Hub in Newport.

Since the closure of SEWREC, it is clear that Black, Asian and ethnic minority community groups have no meeting place or drop in Centre and they decided to come together to form a collective, facilitated by Race Council Cymru, but remaining very much independent and distinct organisations in their own right. They are working together to secure a Multicultural Hub – a Centre with an open door policy, where all communities can visit, get involved and participate in activities and events.

This event will take place virtually on Monday the 23rd November 2020 at 10:30 am – 1 pm.

The theme for the event is:
Newport: One Voice, One City, Celebrating Diversity
