DESCRIPTION:Holocaust Memorial Day is the day for everyone to remember the millions of people murdered in the Holocaust, under Nazi Persecution, and in the genocides which followed in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia, and Darfur.\n\n \nGet involved\nEach year Holocaust Memorial Day activity in the UK is underpinned by a specific UK wide theme chosen by the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust.  For 2022, the theme is ‘One Day’.\nYou and your organisation can show your support by\n\nHosting a HMD event online\n\n\nSharing education resources with schools and colleges\n\n\n‘Light the Darkness at 8pm by lighting your building in purple or light a candle and put it in your window at 8pm on 27 January 2022 (if you are able to do so safely).\n\nShare your photos on social media  – #HolocaustMemorialDay #LightTheDarkness\n\nMore information here: Holocaust Memorial Day Trust | Take part in Holocaust Memorial Day (hmd.org.uk)\n\n\nWe will be supporting ACC and the HUB for their online Holocaust Memorial Day, see poster for details. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
